Taste Buds Delight at the 24th Annual Taste of Keystone
KEYSTONE, Colo. — August 20, 2012 —Labor Day Weekend festivities are abundant at Keystone Resort, headlined by the 24th annual Taste of Keystone foodie extravaganza in Keystone’s Lakeside Village. The event, which has become a staple of Keystone’s fall lineup, will feature scrumptious cuisine from 13 of the resort’s dining establishments including three AAA four-diamond rated restaurants. With free music and children’s activities throughout the event, tasting tickets are just $1 each, with most restaurant station dishes ranging from two to five tickets apiece. Proceeds from the event will go to helping support Summit County’s Mountain Mentors Program.

Labor Day Weekend will also include a merchant’s tent sale in Keystone’s River Run Village, the perfect opportunity to gear-up the whole family with great savings from Gorsuch, Christy Sports, Keystone Sports and more. With easy access provided by Keystone’s free in-resort transportation system, guests can easily commute back-and-forth between the two events. When stomachs need a break from all the tasty treats in Lakeside Village, plenty of mountain activities including hiking, downhill and cross-country mountain biking, two championship golf courses and a variety of children’s activities like bungee trampolines, bounce houses and miniature golf will keep the whole family entertained. In the heart of the Taste of Keystone festivities will be Keystone’s five-acre lake, which offers on-water fun including paddle boating, canoes, kayaking and the latest addition to Lakeside fun, stand up paddle boarding.
