Northstar California™ Resort Opens ‘Idea Room’ in the Village at Northstar™

Unique Meeting Space Designed to Elicit Creative Thinking, Idea Generation

TRUCKEE, Calif. – Feb. 2, 2012 – In an effort to elicit creative thinking and provide a place for resort employees and guests to generate, share and cultivate new ideas, Northstar California’s newest addition to the Village at Northstar is the “Idea Room.” A new meeting space located in the Village at Northstar, the Idea Room is a creative work space that features dry-erase walls, modular seating, a projector, and window coverings so that groups can brainstorm their next big idea as publicly or as privately as they desire.

“When we first began thinking about the concept of the Idea Room, we wanted to create a space within the resort for our employees to share their ideas,” said Davy Ratchford, director of marketing and branding at Northstar. “As we began to brainstorm what that could look like, we realized not only would our employees benefit from this space, but our guests may want to use it for their own idea generation meetings.”

The Northstar Idea Room is the first-of-its-kind meeting space at a mountain resort that is perfect for taking a “hunch” idea and developing it into the next big thing. The dry-erase walls provide the ability to spread ideas around the room. The modular seating, including directors chairs, bean bags, ottomans and arm chairs, allow those using the room to create any seating arrangement needed, for any type of brainstorming session.

The Idea Room is available to book for any group or business looking to develop their ideas – all while being inspired by one of the most beautiful settings in the country. For more information or to book the Idea Room, call (530) 562-3814 or visit www.NorthstarCalifornia.com.
