All 25 Lifts, Grouse Mountain Trails and 70 Percent of Terrain Open This Weekend at Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek, Colo.—Dec. 22, 2011—All 25 of Beaver Creek’s lifts and nearly 70 percent of the area’s skiable terrain will be open Saturday, Dec. 24. Five inches of snow overnight, in addition to a very dedicated effort on behalf of Beaver Creek’s snowmakers and the mountain operations team means terrain will jump to 1,242 acres with 105 trails this weekend. Grouse Mountain will open for the season on Saturday including Raven Ridge, Ptarmigan, Screech Owl and Roughed Grouse trails. The resort also opened Harrier and Roughlock trails on Thursday.
