- Vail Snow Daze Dec. 5-11, 2011 in Vail, Colo.
- Zach Heckendorf will open for Jakob Dylan and Band on Dec. 9, 2011
Zach Heckendorf is only eighteen, a fact that might come as a surprise to many listeners. With a unique, soulful voice and masterful guitar playing to match, Zach is an exciting young talent. Zach has opened for John Butler Trio, played to thousands at Film on the Rocks and performed in KBCOs famed Studio C. His most recent success followed the release of his debut album, “The Cool Down,” when he performed before a sold out crowd at the Bluebird Theater in Denver. “The Cool Down” was produced by Brett Dennen and recorded in Calif. earlier this year. Since the release, Zach has hit the ground running and has begun to expand his music outside of his home state. Having recently opened for Joe Robinson, Guster and the Barenaked Ladies, Zach is quickly making a name for himself on the music scene. Zach will open for Jakob Dylan and Band on Dec. 9 in Vail Village.
The schedule of activities for Vail Snow Daze will also include the return of the sponsor expo village and gear demos at Demo Daze at the base of the Vista Bahn Dec. 9-11 as well as après and after-dark parties in the Town of Vail throughout the week.
