BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. –August 4th, 2011 – The fun never ends this summer at the Breckenridge Fun Park, as the Breck 4x4 Tours are now in full operation. Go for an exhilarating off-road tour in the open-air, safari-style, 4x4 vehicles up Peaks 8 and 7. Learn about Breckenridge’s unique and colorful history from knowledgeable guides, who can also point out local wildlife, natural features and interesting landmarks that are off the beaten track. The Breck 4x4 Tours depart on the hour, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. from the base of Peak 8 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort (weather permitting) and can accommodate up to seven people at a time. The tour lasts around 90 minutes round trip and children must be a minimum of 3 years of age and at least 36” tall to participate. The tour also includes water and a snack; participants should be prepared for rapidly changing weather at high altitude. What to bring: sturdy hiking shoes, hat, jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses.
