Family Fun in April in Colorado and Lake Tahoe
April is a great time for families in the mountains. With longer and warmer days, fun family events and great lodging deals families can enjoy the epic spring conditions this year at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Northstar-at-Tahoe.
 
Epic Snow Conditions
Currently Vail Mountain boasts more than 400 inches of cumulative snowfall to date at mid-mountain and is well above its 10-year seasonal average of 350 inches.
 
Northstar-at-Tahoe has more than 17 feet of snow still on the mountain, and almost 50 feet of snow since the start of the season, spring skiing and riding conditions are the best they’ve been in the past quarter century.

Breckenridge Spring Fever, April 1-24
Breck Spring Fever will kick off the first weekend of April and will conclude on Easter Sunday, April 24, the final operating day of the ski resort this season. Come to the Swinger run on Peak 8; at this fun race, everyone’s a winner! Just show up at the start gate at any time throughout the day, fill out the registration form, RACE and win a special prize from Ripperoo! For kids of all ages who can ski or snowboard. Lift ticket required.
 
Weekend-Long Easter Egg HuntSaturday, April 23 & Sunday, April 24
Join us for one of the largest Easter Egg Hunts anywhere, as this free 2-day egg-stravaganza will give kids and adults alike the chance to hunt for prize filled eggs both on the mountain and at various locations around town! One of Colorado's best tubing spots is at the summit of Dercum Mountain at Adventure Point.  With a good pitch and long runout, the park’s four tubing lanes deliver fast fun and entertainment for the entire family. Snow biking and slopecycle are also a part of the exhilarating times at Keystone's Adventure Point. New this year! The Village at Northstar, A Family Hub for Skating, S’mores and more
Skating in the Village at Northstar is a perfect place to top off a day of winter outdoor fun.
