Beaver Creek Set to Open Grouse Mountain on Friday, Dec. 3
Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 1, 2010—Beaver Creek Resort has received six feet of snow season-to-date and thanks to a series of productive snowstorms and cold temperatures, ski patrol is set to open portions of terrain on Grouse Mountain on Friday, Dec. 3, which is also downhill day for the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup. Mountain operations teams have been working hard around the clock to prepare additional terrain for skiers and riders and on Friday Beaver Creek will offer 1,008 acres of terrain served by nine lifts and seven conveyor lifts.
