Vail Mountain’s (FAC) kicks off Friday, June 25 at Eagle’s Nest beginning at 4 p.m. with live music from the Laughing Bones, food and drink specials, and free activities including bocce ball, horseshoes, bean bag toss and a new slackline park where kids and adults can test their balance at a variety of levels.
Guests who do not have a 2009-2010 or 2010-2011 season pass can purchase a $15 lift ticket to ride the Eagle Bahn Gondola after 4 p.m., which includes a $10 credit voucher valid for the purchase of on-mountain food, beverage or Adventure Ridge activities. The last ride up during evening operations is at 8:30 p.m. to allow time for guests to use their voucher. Children ages four and under always ride free; ages 5-12 years old ride free with a paid adult (limit three children per paid adult).

After a scenic gondola ride, hike or mountain bike ride, visit any of Vail’s three mountaintop venues for incomparable scenic summertime dining. Enjoy smoked barbeque and other lunch favorites on Talon’s Deck from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily. Or, complete a day on the mountain with lunch or dinner at Bistro Fourteen at Eagle’s Nest, offering an eclectic food and bar menu for adults and $10 kids menu. Bistro Fourteen is open for lunch 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday - Sunday, and dinner 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., Thursday - Saturday.
For those looking for a distinctive American cuisine and unparalleled views and service, Game Creek Restaurant, tucked away in Vail’s legendary Game Creek Bowl, is open for sunset appetizers on the deck and bar or dinner Thursdays through Saturday from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. and for Sunday brunch 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. with one complimentary Mimosa per adult brunch purchase. Evening gondola lift tickets are included for all advanced reservation dinners. Walk-ins based on availability may use their $10 evening ticket food & beverage credit.
Or, combine a late-afternoon horseback tour through Game Creek Bowl with a distinctive three-course, family-friendly sunset dinner at Game Creek Restaurant overlooking the Vail Valley.
