Beaver Creek Opens for Summer Adventure May 29
Beaver Creek, Colo.—May 24, 2010—Beaver Creek Resort kicks off the summer season with the annual Blues, Brews & BBQ festival, May 29-30, 2010 featuring barbecue fare from national and local chefs, microbrews and free live music. Scenic chairlift rides begin on the Centennial Express Lift and will be available from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on weekends only May 29-31 (including Memorial Day) and June 5-6. Daily lift operations will run from June 12 to Sept. 6, 2010.
In addition to scenic lift rides, the outdoor grill at Spruce Saddle Lodge on the mountain will be open for lunch each day the chairlift is operating.

*Children aged 12 and under ride the lift for free when accompanied by an adult (up to three kids ride free per adult). Winter 2009-2010 season pass holders and spring pass purchasers for the 2010-2011 season receive complimentary scenic lift rides and may purchase a bike haul ticket.
The Beaver Creek Golf Club is open for public play now through June14. Rounds are $89 for 18 holes and $63 for nine holes. Juniors ages 7-18 can play for free with a paying adult Monday-Thursday. (One free junior round offered per paid adult.) The weekend rate for juniors ages 7-18 is $65 for 18 holes Friday-Sunday. A special twilight rate is available for all players after 3 p.m. for $60. Golfers who show proof of Eagle or Summit County residence can play 18 holes for $68 or nine holes for $55. All fees are per person and include carts and range balls.
