Breckenridge, Colo. – May 5, 2010 – Katherine Grattan has been appointed general manager of One Ski Hill Place, A RockResort, which will open its doors to the public June 1, 2010 and host its grand opening celebration on Nov. 12, 2010 – the same day Breckenridge Ski Resort opens for the 2010-2011 ski and snowboard season.
Grattan has been with Vail Resorts, parent company of RockResorts, since 1999 when she started her career with Keystone Resort. She has held numerous positions within the Vail Resorts Hospitality division including most recently, general manager of Mountain Thunder Lodge and Crystal Peak Lodge in Breckenridge. While in that role, Grattan received the “Orbitz Annual Best in Stay Award – 2010” and the “Expedia Select Award – 2009,” both of which recognize top-rated hotels. Under Grattan’s management, Mountain Thunder Lodge and Crystal Peak Lodge were also rated among the highest for guest services within Vail Resorts and Breckenridge Hospitality.
