Broomfield, Colo. – April 7, 2010 – Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) announced its popular Colorado Pass product for the 2010-2011 ski and snowboard season will go on sale this Friday, April 9. Renewals of the passes are currently available at www.coloradopass.com  and new sales for The Colorado Pass will be available at select Front Range locations beginning April 9 until May 9. Spring rates are also still available for the Epic Pass for $599, the Summit Pass for $409, the Keystone Arapahoe Basin Pass for $359 and the New Epic-7 Pack for $449 through May 31.
“Every year we evaluate the needs of our guests and adjust our product offerings to cater to what they are looking for in their ski and snowboard vacations and ski days,” said Heidi Kercher-Pratt, vice president and chief marketing officer for Vail Resorts. “All of our season passes offer our guests the option to experience our iconic resorts for an entire season or for multiple days—at an extraordinary value.”

The Colorado Pass™ which offers unlimited skiing and riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin and 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek can be renewed online at www.coloradopass.com  for $449 and can be bought on site at certain locations in Colorado. Visit www.coloradopass.com for a complete list of retail locations and hours. Restriction dates apply at Vail and Beaver Creek.
 
The Epic Pass™ back for its third season provides unlimited, unrestricted access to six world class resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly – as well as at Arapahoe Basin for a price of $599 adult and $299 child (ages 5 to 12). The Epic 7-Pack™: A seven-day, unrestricted ticket that skiers and snowboarders can use at any one of Vail Resorts’ five mountain resorts and Arapahoe Basin anytime during the season for a price of $449, or almost 35 percent off of a single-day lift ticket price. The Epic 7-pack differs from a seven-day lift ticket because it can be used whenever you want from the beginning to the end of the ski season. For more information or to purchase the Epic-7 Pack visit www.coloradopass.com 
 
The Summit Pass™ is available to purchase online at www.coloradopass.com and provides unlimited lift access to the top Summit County resorts - Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin - without date restrictions at $409 for adults, $319 for teens ages 13 to 18 and $209 for children ages 5 to 12.
 
The Keystone and Arapahoe Basin Pass for $359 adult, $299 teen, $199 child which offers unlimited, unrestricted skiing at both resorts. The Keystone and Arapahoe Basin Pass is available to purchase at www.coloradopass.com  
 
Prices on all pass products are guaranteed through May 31, 2010.   
 
Season Pass Benefits
The Colorado Pass, Epic Season Pass, Epic 7-Pack, Summit Pass and Keystone/Arapahoe Basin Pass purchasers will continue to receive exclusive offers and promotions for lodging, dining, ski rentals, equipment, ski school and special events for the 2010-2011 ski and snowboard season. New this year, skiers and snowboarders who purchase their pass this spring will also receive special benefits for this summer 2010 including access for sightseeing and gondola rides. Formerly, summer benefits were granted for the summer following our ski seasons. All season pass products are non-transferable and non-refundable.
 
Additionally, Vail Resorts is offering spring-only benefits for pass purchasers who purchase in person by May 9, 2010 or renew online by May 31, 2009 including:
  • Lowest Guaranteed Price
  • $49 down pre-purchase option with the remainder of the balance due in mid-September 2010.
  • Four unrestricted $59 lift tickets valid all season at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. These tickets can be shared with family and friends, or used by the pass holder for additional days at Vail and Beaver Creek.
  • Free summer 2010 lift access at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone (doesn’t include bike haul).
  • Unlimited skiing and riding at Vail and Beaver Creek during the month of April, 2011 (for Colorado Pass holders only).
