Olympic Hopefuls Steve Fisher, Mason Aguirre, Louie Vito, Kelly Clark and Hannah Teter Among Athletes Competing at Winter Dew Tour's Totino's Open
World’s Best Talent in Snowboarding and Freeskiing to Compete at Breckenridge Ski Resort, December 17-20
Breckenridge, CO. – Dec. 9, 2009 – The world’s top snowboard and freeski athletes, including defending 2008-09 Dew Cup champions Kelly Clark (SNB pipe) and Spencer O’Brien (SNB slope) as well as Olympic hopefuls Mason Aguirre, Steve Fisher and Louie Vito will be competing at the first stop of the 2009-10 Winter Dew Tour. The Winter Dew Tour returns to Breckenridge Ski Resort for the second consecutive year for the Totino’s Open, held December 17-20. The four-day event will feature snowboarding and freeskiing competitions, two live performances by local rock band OneRepublic and an interactive Festival Village with athlete autograph signings and free product giveaways.
Over 350 of the best winter action sports athletes in the world will be in Breckenridge, Colo. to compete, including 2006 Olympic gold medalist Hannah Teter, freeski icon Simon Dumont and local athletes Colby West, Steve Fisher and Bobby Brown.
The Totino’s Open will feature the sports of snowboarding and freeskiing, with competitions taking place in the superpipe and slopestyle disciplines. In addition to the nearly 100 pre-qualified athletes, more than 250 snowboarders and freeskiers will be competing in the Open Qualifier rounds of competition in hopes of earning a spot on the remainder of the Winter Dew Tour.
