Keystone Resort Hosts the 26th Annual Wine in the Pines Event to Benefit United Cerebral Palsy Colorado
Keystone Resort hosts the 26th Annual Wine in the Pines event with the Winemakers Dinner on October 23 at the Keystone Ranch and the International Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting on October 24 at the Keystone Conference Center. This year’s theme is Moonlight Masquerade and proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy Colorado (UCP).

The International Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting on Saturday, October 24 at 6:00 p.m. features food from the resort’s fine dining establishments including Keystone’s AAA Four Diamond, Wine Spectator and Zagat Survey-rated restaurants and more than 500 international wines. Menu examples include crème friache from the Ski Tip Lodge, cider glazed smoked mallard duck breast from the Alpenglow Stube, and sweet Cajun orange glazed salmon from the Summit Seafood Company. Guests will also enjoy exquisite sweets from Keystone’s Executive Pastry Chef, Ned Archibald, including truffles, bon bons, miniature French pastries and more. Musical entertainment will be provided by jazz diva Tina Navarro. Guests are encouraged to wear black tie (preferred) or cocktail attire and masquerade (half) masks. A limited supply of masks will be available for a donation at the event.

The Winemakers Dinner on Friday, October 23 at 6:00 p.m. features a six course meal at the Keystone Ranch paired with exquisite reserve wines. The evening starts with champagne and hors d’oeuvres by the Ranch’s fireplace in the warm rustic elegance of the original 1930s ranch homestead and then moves through Head Chef Jason Kassib’s well balanced and finely textured creations. Guests are encouraged to wear denim and bling.

Tickets for both evenings may be purchased in advance for $350. Those interested in only attending the International Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting may purchase tickets for $100 in advance and $125 at the door. Advance tickets are purchased by calling United Cerebral Palsy at 303.691.9339, visiting www.WineinthePines.org, or stopping by Dillon Ridge Liquors in Dillon, Colo. Lodging and event packages are available at Keystone starting at $145 per person. Guests may call 888-222-9295 for reservations and mention group code GT4WIN.
