Northstar California Resort Welcomes New Vice President and General Manager, Beth Howard
Northstar California Resort Vice President and General Manager, Beth Howard, will officially begin her new role at the resort November 1.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Northstar, and my family and I are equally thrilled to join the Truckee-Tahoe community,” Howard stated.  “The region is incredibly special, and we are excited to be a part of it.  I’m looking forward to working with Northstar’s incredible talent as well as continuing forward with the resort’s invaluable community partnerships.”

Howard began her career with Vail Resorts in 1985 as a college intern at Beaver Creek, which led to a 30-year career with the company. In 2010, Beth was promoted to vice president of mountain dining and clubs where she has had operational oversight of mountain dining across all of the company's resorts, including more than 100 restaurants and eight private mountain and golf clubs.

“Beth possesses a wealth of experience and expertise that will benefit both resort and the region,” said Bill Rock, vice president and chief operating officer of Park City and Canyons Resort in Utah.  “She and her teams have achieved unmatched success within the realm of culinary excellence throughout Vail Resorts’ entire family of mountains.  Equally, her successes with leading mountain operational best practice groups, focus on premier resort-wide service and passion for connecting with community, loyal guests and new visitors are just a few of many amazing leadership qualities that Beth offers.”

“Beth established herself as one of our most critical leaders, helping to design and deliver the outstanding guest experience at Beaver Creek for over 22 years. She built on that expertise by taking over leadership of mountain dining and clubs for both Vail and Beaver Creek and then ultimately for our whole company,” said Rob Katz, chairman and chief executive officer of Vail Resorts. “Beth will be able to leverage these successes and her strong leadership as she works with our entire Northstar team to continue to elevate the guest experience at the resort.”
