Keystone, Colo. — Aug. 25, 2016 — The sights and sounds of fall are becoming increasingly present at Keystone Resort, as cool nights and crisp mornings signal the onset of the impending winter season. But before the snow blankets the mountains at Keystone, there are still plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy a serene and beautiful fall getaway at the resort whether golfing on the greens, biking amongst golden aspens or simply relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding Rocky Mountains.

Fall at the Keystone Bike Park
No, not literally, but the fall season is a great time to squeeze in those last weekends of downhill adventures at Keystone before the dirt singletrack trails turn from brown to white. The Keystone Bike Park features 56 lift-serviced singletrack mountain biking trails, with progressive terrain welcoming riders of all ability levels. Known as one of the most renowned bike parks in the Rocky Mountains, the Keystone Bike Park is open daily through Labor Day and then Saturdays and Sundays Sept. 10-11 and 17-18.
 
Tee Off on the Greens
Fall is the perfect time of year to hit the greens and enjoy the beautiful fall colors on Keystone’s award-winning golf courses – The River Course and Keystone Ranch Golf Course. Named by GolfDigest 2016 Editors’ Choice as one of the five best golf resorts in the Rockies/Great Plains, Keystone boasts a beautiful 36-hole golf facility that offers two authentic and distinct courses, all at one idyllic mountain resort. The Keystone Ranch Golf course is open through Sunday, Sept. 25 and The River Course is open through Sunday, Oct. 9.
 
Cruise Blue Waters at the Keystone Lake
Stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, lakeside bicycle rides, whichever the mode of transportation the Keystone Adventure Center and Keystone Lake presents a picturesque mountain setting to take in the sights and sounds of the fall season. Located in Lakeside Village, the Keystone Adventure Center provides boat and bike rentals, arcade games, beach toys, snacks and a bar. The Adventure Center is open daily through Sunday, Oct. 2.
 
Goodbye Summer, Hello Oktoberfest and Taste of Keystone
Celebrate the unofficial end of summer with a fall festival weekend at Keystone. The family-friendly Keystone Oktoberfest includes free live music, free kids activities such as face painters, and commemorative stein purchases for adults. Oktoberfest is Saturday, Sept. 3 from 1-6 p.m. in Keystone’s River Run Village. With lodging rates beginning at just $119, guests can stay the evening and enjoy the 29th Annual Taste of Keystone on Sunday, Sept. 4. Located in Keystone’s Lakeside Village, enjoy the last days of summer with delectable dishes from the resort’s signature restaurants, including the Ski Tip Lodge, Alpenglow Stube and Keystone Ranch.
 
Fall Into Lodging Savings
As the summer season winds down, fall presents the perfect opportunity to save big on a visit to Keystone. Guests can enjoy up to 40 percent off on stays of two nights or more, with River Run condos beginning at $119 a night. With a variety of settings, including secluded and tranquil locations set amongst the White River National Forest, no one will blame you if you spend the entire time relaxing on your balcony.
