Two Courses Are Better Than One: Keystone Ranch Golf Course Opens Friday Sending Keystone’s Golf Season in Full Swing
Share:

Keystone, Colo. — May 24, 2018 — Friday, May 25, the Keystone Ranch Golf Course, at Keystone Resort opens with a full 18 holes of golf available. The second of two courses to open at Keystone. The resort’s 36-hole golf facility provides two authentic and distinct courses in one convenient Rocky Mountain setting. Early summer rates are available through June 14, with nine holes of golf beginning at $60, and a 36-hole same-day play special lasting all season long.

Open through Sept. 30, the Keystone Ranch Golf Course is a classic mountain valley golf course that winds through lodgepole pines, around sage meadows and across a nine-acre lake. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the par 72 Keystone Ranch Golf Course sits on historic ranching land that housed multiple homesteads in the 1900s, with many outbuildings remaining on the course today including the Keystone Ranch restaurant, a AAA Four-Diamond rated restaurant.

The Keystone Ranch Golf Course joins the currently open River Course, a Hurdzan-Fry par 71 course open through Oct. 7. The River Course brings an element of drama to the game, featuring magnificent views, impressive elevations changes, variable bunkers, water hazards and six sets of tees on each hole to challenge golfers of all abilities.

Keystone offers a variety of lodging options, including hotels, condos and townhomes ranging in size from studio to four-bedroom, and four- and five-bedroom private homes, that are conveniently located within minutes of The River Course and Keystone Ranch Golf Course. Keystone’s Stay, Play & Save packages begin at $181 per person, per night and offer exclusive savings on lodging and golf rates and includes free golf on the afternoon of arrival. Additionally, resort amenities, activities and dining options are all located on-site at Keystone, providing a variety of easily accessible mountain adventures when not golfing.

Both The River Course and Keystone Ranch Golf Course offer a variety of private lessons, clinics, and programs designed for golfers of all abilities and ages. With instruction via Keystone’s PGA teaching professionals, enjoying the two authentic mountain valley courses through private lessons and weekly offerings designed specifically for women, men, juniors, seniors and group golfers is easier than a hole-in-one. There are programs offered each day of the week except Sunday, including short-game clinics, Birdies and Bettys ladies’ play days and junior golf clinics.

Keystone Resort Opens for Full Summer Operations on June 8
Keystone Resort’s summer season provides a laid-back environment that is full of adventures with fewer crowds, allowing guests to enjoy authentic mountain experiences at a pace they dictate. Sitting at 9,280 feet elevation and just a short, scenic drive from Denver, Keystone is the ultimate location for families to enjoy mountaintop hiking, golfing, downhill mountain biking, horseback riding, lake activities, special events and lodging rates that begin at $116 a night.
