Vail Resorts Names Randall Mehrberg Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Vail Resorts today announced the hiring of Randall Mehrberg as executive vice president and general counsel, effective Dec. 2, 2013. 
 
Since 2008, Mehrberg has been the executive vice president of strategy and development for Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE:PEG) and president of PSEG Energy Holdings, which develops, manages and owns renewable energy solutions. Prior to his role at PSEG, Mehrberg was general counsel for eight years at Exelon Corporation, during which time he also held roles as head of corporate strategy and development and chief administrative officer. Prior to Exelon, Mehrberg was partner at Jenner & Block, and from 1993 to 1997 he was the lakefront director and general counsel of the City of Chicago Park District.

Mehrberg has a doctor of law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Mehrberg is a passionate skier, having consistently visited Vail Mountain extensively for the past 30 years. He is married with 3 children.
