Ski Girls Rock Program Designed by Lindsey Vonn Extended to Saturday, March 31
Vail Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, today announced that Ski Girls Rock, the resort’s premium children’s ski school product inspired by Olympic and World Alpine ski champion Lindsey Vonn, will be extended through Saturday, March 31.
The extension of the program, which has been offered during select weeks throughout the 2011-2012 season, comes in response to popular demand and coincides with a public homecoming celebration for Lindsey Vonn’s record-setting season to be held Sunday, April 1 at Arrabelle Square in Lionshead.

Vail Resorts Congratulates Alpine Skiing Champion Lindsey Vonn on Becoming First American to Clinch Four World Cup Overall Titles
Vail Resorts and the entire Vail community congratulate Olympic and World Alpine skiing champion Lindsey Vonn in becoming the first American ever to win four World Cup Overall titles after winning the Giant Slalom in Are, Sweden earlier today after already securing the downhill and combined titles with five World Cup races to go this season.

VAIL, Colo. — Jan. 18, 2012 — Vail Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, will open portions of Sun Up Bowl and China Bowl this Thursday, Jan. 19 and portions of Blue Sky Basin on Friday, Jan. 20.

Vail Mountain Blanketed With 10 Inches of Fresh Powder Snow
VAIL, Colo. — Jan. 17, 2012 — Skiers and snowboarders were eager to load the lifts and take advantage of nearly a foot of fresh powder snow that fell across Colorado throughout the day on Monday and into the night. Vail Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, received 10 inches from Monday morning to Tuesday morning while Beaver Creek received nine, Breckenridge five and Keystone four.
