Vail’s The 10th is Open for Lunch Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Summer
Vail Mountain’s newest on-mountain dining experience, The 10th, is now open for the summer. The restaurant serves lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sunday, Aug. 31.

This summer The 10th offers its traditional modern alpine-inspired menu with a summer twist to include locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. The 10th also offers a Hiker’s Luncheon which can be pre-ordered to enjoy on the mountain. The bag lunch includes a variety of fresh sandwich options to choose from along with chips, salad, bottled water, whole fruit, and a granola bar.

Located at Mid-Vail, The 10th is easily accessed by Gondola One from Vail Village. Or during summer guests can also access The 10th from Eagle’s Nest via a scenic hike along the Fireweed trail. The mellow, one-mile hike takes guests from Eagle’s Nest to Mid-Vail, and back.

The 10th features a cozy bar and lounge with fireplace, and a south-facing outdoor deck that captures the afternoon sun and views of the beautiful green mountainside and summer wildflowers on the Look Ma and Challenge trails.

Opened in Dec. 2011 as Vail’s newest ski-in, ski-out table-service restaurant, The 10th began as a winter lunch establishment and due to popularity quickly evolved into much more. The 10th now offers lunch in summer and winter, as well as winter après and dinner service, and even hosted Vail’s first high-altitude nighttime experience, Decimo, in March 2014. In addition the venue is also available for group events and weddings in summer and winter.

Reservations at The 10th are encouraged and can be made by calling (970) 754-1010.
