Vail Mountain Announces Summer 2014 Operation Dates
Even with a few days of the 2013-2014 winter ski and snowboard season left to go, Vail Mountain is already gearing up for summer and announced today the resort’s summer operating dates.Vail’s Gondola One and Eagle Bahn Gondola will be open for summer operations according to the following schedules:
 
Gondola One*
  • Weekends-Only: June 6-8, Sept. 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 26-28 and Oct. 3-5
    • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday
  • Daily: Friday, June 13 – Monday, Sept. 1
    • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
*Bikes will be allowed up the gondola until 4 p.m. as soon as conditions allow.
 
Eagle Bahn Gondola and Adventure Ridge**
  • Weekends-Only: June 6-8, Sept. 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 26-28 and Oct. 3-5
    • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday
  • Daily: Friday, June 13 – Monday, Sept. 1
    • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday
    • 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday
**Bikes will be allowed up the gondola until 6 p.m. as soon as conditions allow.
 
Scenic rides and bike hauls will be offered on both gondolas and trails will open as conditions permit. Adventure Ridge atop the Eagle Bahn Gondola will offer signature summer activities and on-mountain dining beginning Friday, June 13 through the summer season.
 
Sarge’s outdoor barbeque at Mid-Vail and Talon’s Deck at Eagle’s Nest open for weekend-only operations June 6-8, and then move to daily operations beginning Friday, June 13.
 
The full summer schedule for Vail’s on-mountain activities and dining will be announced soon.
