  • Epic SchoolKids Returns with 16 FREE Days of Skiing and Snowboarding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone for Colorado Kindergarteners through Fifth Graders
BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Aug. 24, 2016 — Epic means more than 5,200 acres of ski and snowboard terrain including seven legendary Back Bowls at Vail, incomparable guest service and perfectly manicured trails at Beaver Creek, five huge peaks comprising 2,908 acres of skiable terrain situated above an authentic mountain town at Breckenridge, and the premier family-friendly resort where kids rule at Keystone. Epic means the experience of a lifetime for families and friends with unparalleled access to Colorado’s premier resorts.

Labor Day signals summer’s end, which is the perfect time for skiers and snowboarders longing for winter to secure the guaranteed lowest price on Colorado’s most valuable season pass. Priced at $609 through Monday, Sept. 5, the Epic Local Pass pays for itself in only four days, and includes unlimited and unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and a total of 10 holiday-restricted days at Vail and Beaver Creek, plus unlimited access with a few holiday restrictions at Park City in Utah, and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe.

“The value of the Epic Local Pass is access to the best skiing and snowboarding in the U.S.,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “The ability to experience so many different iconic mountains affordably with your family, the continued investment in our resorts and the flexibility to ski when you want, where you want, whether you ski two weekends or log as many days as possible, makes the Epic Local Pass the best pass option for Colorado skiers and snowboarders.”

Epic means family. Elementary school-aged children can also take advantage of the FREE 2016-2017 Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack for the ultimate family value for skiing and riding. Returning for a limited time, Epic SchoolKids does not require any purchases, and includes four FREE days each (totaling 16 free days) at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone, as well as one free first-timer ski or snowboard lesson with free equipment rental December or January. Registration is only open through Sunday, Oct. 9. For additional information about Epic SchoolKids and registration locations, visit www.epicschoolkids.com/colorado.

Epic means the best value. Value is also about the investments in the experience. Highlighted by a new restaurant at the top of Peak 7 at Breck and a new high-speed four-passenger chairlift replacing the fixed-grip triple Chair 17 at Vail, Vail Resorts will invest more than $100 million in resort improvements for the 2016-2017 winter season.

Epic means options. For skiers and riders, flexibility is paramount. Beginning at just $319, season pass options include the Keystone A-Basin Pass, Summit Value Pass, Epic Local Pass and Epic Pass, providing Coloradoans with a variety of choices to enjoy the experience of skiing and riding this winter, no matter if they are 100-day skiers or take one family ski trip a winter.

Labor Day is the deadline to purchase at the guaranteed lowest prices. The most valuable season pass line-up in Colorado can be found online at EpicPass.com.
