Yesterday at Vail Mountain testing was conducted on the zip lines of the resort’s new Game Creek canopy tour, slated to open for summer 2016 as a part of the resort’s new summer mountain experience, Epic Discovery. 

This Saturday, approximately 300 Vail Mountain Resort and Beaver Creek Resort employees will gather to construct and improve the Mesquite Trail in Avon's Singletree neighborhood. The volunteers will represent a portion of 2,000 Vail Resorts employees giving back that day across various states.

Vail Mountain announced today the appointment of Steven Topple to executive chef of Game Creek Club and Restaurant, one of Vail Mountain’s premier Signature Clubs and fine-dining establishments. 

Vail’s summer of mountaintop music continues this weekend featuring Damon Wood’s Harmonious Junk at FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) at Eagle’s Nest on July 24, followed by music from Bob Masters Duo on July 25 for the Saturday Sundown Series.

Elevate your weekend with local live music at 10,350’ at Vail when The Altitones headline FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) at Eagle’s Nest on July 17, followed by music from Bob Masters Duo on July 18 for the Saturday Sundown Series.

Mountaintop music at Vail returns this weekend with Schlep N’ Wolf at FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) at Eagle’s Nest on July 10, followed by music from Johnny Schleper Duo on July 11 at the Saturday Sundown Series.

The new Vail Mountain Hiking Center is now open in Lionshead, in addition to many of the resort’s hiking and mountain biking trails.

High atop Vail Mountain at Adventure Ridge, grab a tube and hop a ride on Vail’s newest activity, summer tubing. The exciting new activity is now open for guests this summer and will eventually be incorporated into Epic Discovery, Vail’s comprehensive summer activities plan, when it debuts in summer 2016.
