Spring Grüv Festival: Saturday, March 23 – Sunday, April 7
Park City Mountain’s Spring Grüv festival returns on Saturday, March 23 with 16 straight days of activities, music and special events at both base areas. This year’s Spring Grüv will be highlighted by three Saturday concerts: Changing Lanes Experience on March 23 (Canyons Village), Anderson East on March 30 (Park City Mountain Village) and Dragondeer on April 6 (Canyons Village). Other activities include free s’mores, family après activities, meet and greets with the avalanche dogs and the annual Pond Skimming Competition. Find a full event schedule here.

23rd Annual Pond Skimming Competition: Saturday, April 6
Whether your go-to spring skiing costume is an 80’s onesie, a sparkled-out tutu or something else you’ve been prepping all year, it’s time to bust it out and come up to Red Pine Lodge for Spring Gruv’s grand finale, the annual Pond Skimming Competition. Pond Skim is one of the best days of the year to be on the mountain. Contestants must dress in costume (the funkier the better) as they attempt to cross a 100-foot pond on skis or a snowboard. Awards will be given out by a panel of judges for best costume, best splash and crash and overall best male and female contestant. The pond is located at the top of the Red Pine Gondola just outside of Red Pine Lodge. Competitor registration will open on March 1. More information here.

Closing Day: Sunday, April 7
Park City Mountain will officially wrap up the 2018-19 ski season on April 7 with Closing Day Concerts at both the Park City Mountain Village and Canyons Village.
