Canyons & Mountain Trails Foundation Announce Guest Donation Program
PARK CITY, UT(December 4, 2013) –  Canyons Resort, Utah’s largest and most dynamic ski and snowboard resort, today announced a partnership with Mountain Trails Foundationthat will raise tens of thousands of dollars annually for the nonprofit foundation to continue its trail restoration and maintenance projects in Summit County, Utah.

Beginning today, Canyons, through its company stewardship program, Vail Resorts Echo, has launched a voluntary guest donation program that enables guests to contribute $1 on the online purchase of a variety of resort activities and amenities including season pass sales, online ticket purchases, lodging and, coming in 2014, golf.

Dollars raised will go directly to trail restoration, maintenance and the building of new trails.
To celebrate the occasion, Canyons’ and Mountain Trails representatives toasted community members this morning with a free cup of coffee (and a reusable mug) at six Park City area coffee shops. (Photo attached)
"We have a strong commitment to preserving and enhancing the iconic locations that surround Canyons," said Mike Goar, Canyons’ General Manager.  "Mountain Trails Foundation exemplifies the spirit of hands-on, on-the-ground environmental restoration and maintenance work that resonates with our guides (employees) and guests.”
