Kirkwood Summer Operation Hours

Summer Activities
Kirkwood Mountain Resort will be open for summer on the weekends from July 7-September 2, 2012. Kirkwood offers a bike park, ziplining, ropes course and climbing wall, hiking, and disc golf.

Lift Operation Hours (Chairs 1 and 2)
Saturdays: 10am-4pm
Sundays: 10am-3pm

Mountain Biking
The Kirkwood Mountain Bike Park is accessible via Chairlifts 1 and 2 on weekends from July 7-September 2, 2012, trail conditions permitting. The network of roads and single track lead you through spectacular terrain high in the Sierra. Advanced riders looking for a challenging cross country ride should check out the Sentinels Trail, intermediate riders should try the Robey Wolfe trail.

Zip Tahoe
Zip Tahoe and Kirkwood bring you Tahoe’s first canopy/zipline tour! The canopy tour brings a whole new element of adventure to Kirkwood, whizzing you between the trees at speeds of up to 30 mph 90 feet above the resort! Ropes Course and Climbing Wall
Kirkwood's Ropes Course & Climbing Wall includes a collection of high and low elements. Fun for all ages, this facility provides an excellent opportunity for team and relationship building with family and peers.

Hiking & Scenic Chair Rides
Take advantage of world class hiking and breath-taking views from the network of trails accessed by chairlifts 1 and 2. Visit the Summer HQ for hiking guides and trail recommendations then visit the General Store to stock up on essentials for your day.

Disc Golf
Praised by locals and visitors alike as one of the West Coast’s most challenging courses. Play at “DiscWood” is free—simply pick up a scorecard from the General Store, then enjoy an afternoon exploring the mountainside above the Timber Creek base area. Discs and other essentials may be purchased from the General Store.

Horseback Riding
