Keystone Resort Summer Fast Facts

Keystone Resort offers a wide range of summer activities across multiple areas in resort, from River Run Village and the River Run Gondola to Lakeside Village, the Keystone Stables, and Keystone Golf. 

River Run Gondola & On-Mountain Activities 
Schedule: Open Thursdays – Mondays from June 23 to Sept. 4 
Hours of Operations: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

On- Mountain Activities via the River Run Gondola:

Keystone Golf: 
River Course: This Hurdzan-Fry course features unbeatable views, impressive elevation changes, variable bunkers, water hazards and six sets of tees on each hole to challenge golfers of all abilities.  
  • Operations: May 12 through Oct. 8 
  • Par 71 
  • Total Yardage: 4,758 – 6,886 
  • 16th hole features a 194-foot elevation drop from tee to green 
  • 18th hole includes spectacular views of Lake Dillon 
Keystone Ranch Golf Course: Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., this historic mountain course winds through lodgepole pines, around sage meadows and across a nine-acre lake. The course sits on historic ranching land that housed multiple homesteads in the 1900s, with many outbuildings remaining on the course today including the Keystone Ranch restaurant, a AAA Four-Diamond rated restaurant. 
  • Opening Day: May 19 through Oct. 8 
  • Par 72 
  • Total Yardage: 5,041 – 7,017 
  • Site of the 2017 Colorado Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship 
  • Home to the Keystone Ranch, a AAA Four-Diamond rated restaurant 
Lakeside Village: 
  • When: Open daily starting Friday, May 27 
  • Where: Lakeside Village 
  • What: Festivals & events, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, bike rentals, plus the all-new Rathbone self-serve taproom at the Keystone Adventure Center. 
Average Summer Temperatures: 70 degrees daytime, 50 degrees nighttime. Remember to wear lots of sunscreen! 

High Altitude Preparedness 
The elevation can affect people in different ways. Visitors should be mindful of the effects of altitude and make sure to always wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water and limit the consumption of alcohol and caffeine. If symptoms such as headache, nausea, lethargy or shortness of breath persist, visitors should seek immediate medical attention.
