“With more than 10,000 skiable acres of terrain on one pass, skiers and snowboarders can have access to the best of Tahoe, from the views of Lake Tahoe atop Heavenly Mountain, Northstar’s spectacular groomed terrain and Kirkwood’s steep and challenging slopes, all on one season pass at a great value,” said Kirsten Lynch, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “All of Vail Resorts season passes give our guests the flexibility to choose what pass product is right for them based on which resorts they prefer and how much they plan to ski and ride next season. We encourage all of our guests to purchase their passes in the spring to take advantage of the lowest guaranteed price for the next winter season.”

With three completely unique resort experiences, at locations on both the North and South shores of Lake Tahoe, as well as just outside the basin, the diversity guests receive with the Vail Resorts passes is unmatched. Northstar offers Tahoe’s premier luxury experience in a family-friendly atmosphere. Heavenly offers a completely unique high-energy vibe that the South Shore is known for, and Kirkwood is famous for its authentic, big-mountain ski and ride experience.

Since 2010, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood have poured more than $78 million dollars into the guest experience, building new lodges and attractions, installing new lifts, cutting new trails, adding EpicMix and other technology improvements, as well as putting important resources into maintaining the resorts at the high levels for which they are recognized.

With the two largest snowmaking systems on the West Coast at Heavenly and Northstar, and Kirkwood receiving the most annual snowfall in the Sierras, pass holders can count on the resorts opening on time with fantastic snow surface conditions.

“No matter how you do the math—capital improvements, service, terrain variety and technology that enhances the guest experience—at Lake Tahoe, there’s just no better experience or value than what’s provided by Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood,” Lynch said.
