Vail Resorts Announces 2019-20 Pass Partner Change and New Keystone Plus Pass
Vail Resorts announced today that the Company’s pass partnership with Arapahoe Basin will end after the 2018-19 ski season. A new season pass, the Keystone Plus Pass, will replace the Keystone A-Basin Pass for the 2019-20 season and will include 10 buddy tickets for any passes purchased before the April deadline.

January has been kind to Crested Butte with Old Man Winter delivering five feet of snow to Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s slopes. Following the resort’s opening of the High Lift and North Face Lift earlier this month, Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is excited to announce additional terrain openings throughout the resort’s famed Extreme Limits terrain.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort Opens the North Face Lift for the 2018-19 Winter Season
Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) opened for the 2018-19 winter season on Nov. 22, 2018, but for many advanced skiers and riders, the official start to Crested Butte’s winter season is the opening of the resort’s famed Extreme Limits terrain. Following the seasonal opening of the High Lift on Jan. 7, CBMR is excited to announce that the North Face Lift is set to open today.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort Opens the High Lift for the 2018-19 Winter Season
After receiving nearly a foot of snow over the past 24 hours – and over eight feet of snow this season – Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is thrilled to announce that the High Lift will open for the season today. The High Lift will provide access to portions of the Headwall and Teocalli Bowl, two zones within CBMR’s famous Extreme Limits terrain.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort Announces Plans to Replace the Teocalli Lift for the 2019-20 Winter Season
Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is excited to announce plans to replace the Teocalli Lift – a 1979 Riblet fixed-grip double chairlift – for the 2019-20 winter season, pending approval by the U.S. Forest Service. If approved, the new Teocalli Lift would be upgraded to a fixed-grip quad chairlift, increasing uphill capacity by 50 percent.

With the official start to winter arriving on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, the 2018-19 ski and snowboard season is off to an historic start at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR). CBMR has received incredible early season snowfall, and the resort is excited to announce that the East River Lift will open for the season on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort Opens Silver Queen Express for the Winter Season
After receiving more than two feet of snow in the past week – plus six inches of snow in the last 24 hours – intermixed with great snowmaking conditions, Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is excited to announce that the Silver Queen Express is open for the 2018-19 winter season. Today marks the earliest opening date for the Silver Queen Express in 20 years.

Vail Resorts Closes Its Acquisition of Okemo Mountain Resort, Mount Sunapee Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort
Vail Resorts today announced that the Company has closed on its acquisition of Triple Peaks, LLC, the parent company of Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont, Mount Sunapee Resort in New Hampshire and Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Colorado.
