Colorado's Top Golf Courses Open May 8 for the Golf Season

Beaver Creek, Colo., May 5, 2015 — Golfers looking for respite from hot, humid and overcrowded 18-hole excursions can once again turn to three championship golf courses within a drive, chip and putt away from Beaver Creek, Colorado this summer. Guests can begin enjoying awe-inspiring alpine backdrops, impeccably-maintained greens and fairways, opulent fine-dining establishments and first-class guest service starting on Beaver Creek Golf Club’s and Red Sky Ranch & Golf Club’s opening days, Friday, May 8.

Beaver Creek Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is one of the longest established golf experiences in the Vail Valley and is famously known for its narrow and challenging fairways, as well as direct views of Beaver Creek Resort and a grand opportunity to view Rocky Mountain wildlife while on course.

The majestic Red Sky Ranch & Golf Club is home to two championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Both Red Sky courses annually are featured in America’s Top 100 Courses You Can Play and the Fazio course was ranked #45 in Golfweek’s 2014 Top Resort Courses in the country. Both the Fazio and Norman courses harness the sweeping grandeur and drama of the Colorado Rockies with views of Vail’s Back Bowls and the surrounding valley.

Stay & Play lodging packages are offered for both courses this spring, summer and fall and give access to these exclusive fairways, making visitors’ Colorado trip an affordable escape that both seasoned veterans and aspiring novices can dig their cleats into.
