Beaver Creek Golf Club Opens for the Summer Season Friday, May 11
 Beaver Creek, Colo., April 30, 2012 – The Beaver Creek Golf Club opens for the summer season Friday, May 11, 2012. Nestled against the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain and one of the longest established golf courses in the Vail Valley, the 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., will offer public play May 11 – June 14, 2012 and Sept. 16 – Oct. 7, 2012. The course will be open to club members and Beaver Creek Resort, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead guests June 15 – Sept. 15, 2012.
 
“The Beaver Creek Golf Club is set to open and conditions are phenomenal from the great weather we’ve had early season,” said Dave Lopez, director of golf for Beaver Creek Golf Club. “New for the 2012 season, guests will enjoy new golf carts and a new beverage cart.” Lopez added, “Back by popular demand, the early season golf and lunch special returns for just $85 and we’re looking forward to hosting players on our course, serving them a signature Rendezvous Club lunch and sending them home with a souvenir from the golf shop.”
 
During the early season, May 11 – June 14, rates are $92 for 18 holes and $65 for nine holes. Juniors ages 7-18 can play for free with a paying adult Monday-Thursday (one free junior round offered per paid adult), and can play 18 holes Friday – Sunday for $67. All fees are per person and include carts and range balls.
 
The Rendezvous Club Restaurant golf and lunch special is offered at $85 per person. It features a three-course lunch, round of 18 holes, golf cart, range balls and a $10 voucher valid the same day at the renowned Beaver Creek Golf Shop, recognized in 2010 as GolfWorld’s 100 Best Golf Shops. This special is being offered Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning May 11 through June 14, 2012.
 
Stay and Play Golf Package
Stay one night in a Beaver Creek lodging property this summer and play one round of golf at the Beaver Creek Golf Club for each night of accommodations. This package starts at $154 per person and is valid May 11– Oct. 7, 2012. Rate includes one night of lodging, based on double occupancy, and one round of golf per person with some minimum stay requirements Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer. Taxes and gratuities not included and accommodations and tee times are subject to availability. Packages are not available for groups or rounds already booked. Other restrictions may apply.
