Beaver Creek Golf Club Opens for the Summer Season Friday, May 13
Beaver Creek, Colo., May 11, 2011 – Get ready to tee off this weekend when the Beaver Creek Golf Club opens for the summer season Friday, May 13, 2011. Nestled against the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain the 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., will offer public play May 13 – June 14, 2011 and Sept. 16 – Oct. 9, 2011. The course will be open to club members and Beaver Creek Resort, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead guests June 15 – Sept. 15, 2011.
“The Beaver Creek Golf Club has been working incredibly hard this spring and we are very excited to get the 2011 golf season underway. The golf course is in good shape despite some colder than normal temperatures this spring but the fairways are coming along nicely and the greens will be as good as anywhere in this valley,” said Dave Lopez, Director of Golf for Beaver Creek Golf Club. “New for the 2011 season, players will find a new fleet of golf carts and a renovated tee box on the third hole, which is a favorite on the golf course.”
During the early season, May 13 – June14, rates are $89 for 18 holes and $63 for nine holes. Juniors ages 7-18 can play for free with a paying adult Monday-Thursday (one free junior round offered per paid adult), and can play 18 holes Friday – Sunday for $65. A special twilight rate is available for all players after 2 p.m. for $65. Golfers who show proof of Eagle or Summit County residence can play 18 holes for $68 or nine holes for $55. All fees are per person and include carts and range balls.
The Rendezvous Club Restaurant is currently offering a Golf and Lunch Special for $79 and includes a three-course meal, golf cart, range balls and a $10 voucher valid the same day at the renowned Beaver Creek Golf Shop. This special is being offered Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning May 17 through June 14, 2011.
Stay and Play Golf Package
Stay one night in a Beaver Creek lodging property this summer and play one round of golf at the Beaver Creek Golf Club for each night of accommodations. This package starts at $147/person and is valid May 12 – Oct. 9, 2011. Rate includes one night of lodging, based on double occupancy, and one round of golf per person with some minimum stay requirements Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer. Taxes and gratuities not included and accommodations and tee times are subject to availability. Packages are not available for groups or rounds already booked. Other restrictions may apply.
