Mid-Season Conditions Await Holiday Skiers and Riders at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte
It’s been an historic start to the winter season at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte, with record early openings, plentiful amounts of snowfall and terrain, and conditions that are comparable to late-January last season. Now is a great time for skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, as all five resorts head into the holidays with mid-winter conditions and festive events.

Beaver Creek Resort is scheduled to begin operating Arrow Bahn Express (#17), Highlands Lift (#2), and Elkhorn Lift (#14) tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 15.

Grouse Mountain Now Open; Beaver Creek Resort Now Boasts More Than 1,000 Skiable Acres
Grouse Mountain and Larkspur both open today at Beaver Creek Resort. Following 21 inches of new snow in the last week and 93 inches this season, Beaver Creek Resort is now offering 1,076 acres of top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding on beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain.

Vail Resorts Commits to $175 Million to $180 Million in Capital Investments to Reimagine the Guest Experience for the 2019-20 Season
Vail Resorts today announced that the Company plans to invest approximately $175 million to $180 million in the guest experience in time for the 2019-20 winter ski and snowboard season across its network of 18 resorts. This latest investment is in addition to approximately $150 million invested for this season, bringing the Company’s industry-leading resort investment total to more than $1.2 billion over the last decade.

Vail and Beaver Creek Junior Ski Patrol Program Returns for Second Season
Vail Mountain, the Vail Ski Patrol and Helly Hansen will partner this winter with Beaver Creek Resort and the Beaver Creek Ski Patrol to expand the Junior Ski Patrol Program which debuted at Vail last winter. The Vail and Beaver Creek Junior Ski Patrol Program, presented by Helly Hansen, will be open to 18 select students. To be eligible for the program, students must be in grades 8 through 10, at a level 7 skiing ability, be available for all program dates, and submit an application.
