Consistently cold temperatures over the past few weeks in conjunction with natural snowfall have helped Vail Mountain operations teams to prepare for yet another strong opening day for skiers and snowboarders. The resort will open 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 for the 2011-2012 season with access to the mountain from both Vail Village and Lionshead.
