Vail Marriott Ranked Best Among North American Marriott Hotels by Meeting Planners for Second Year in a Row
BROOMFIELD, Colo. –March 5, 2013–In Marriott International’s 2012 Event Satisfaction Survey meeting planners ranked Vail Marriott Mountain Resort#1 in Overall Satisfaction for full service Marriott Hotels & Resorts® in North America for the second year in a row.
“Everybody says they have great customer service, but you don’t really know without customer feedback, which is vital in our business,” said Vail Marriott General Manager David Pease, who just celebrated his 40thyear anniversary with Marriott. “To finish the year #1 out of 340 full service Marriott hotels for the second year in a row in this important metric is truly special and a testament to our seasoned and experienced staff.”
The Event Satisfaction Survey is completed by meeting planners, event organizers, group and conference contacts and social event organizers who have actualized business at the Marriott hotels on which they vote. The objective of the survey is to understand how event planners feel about important aspects on their events and provides critical information to improve planner loyalty, attract new customers, and enhance the brand image.
