Jeff Kurtz Joins Colorado Mountain Express as Director of Sales and Marketing
EDWARDS, Colo. – Nov. 30, 2015 – Colorado Mountain Express (CME) announced today that Jeff Kurtz has been appointed to the position of director of sales and marketing for the Edwards-based transportation company effective today, Monday, Nov. 30. Jeff will be responsible for leading all sales, marketing and reservations functions for CME and his primary focus will be developing strategic initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience and deliver strong business results. Kurtz will report directly to John Dawsey, vice president and general manager of CME.
 
“Jeff’s thorough understanding of CME operations, sales efforts, guest service focus, as well as his ability to genuinely connect with others will be collectively beneficial in his new role.” said Dawsey. “I’m confident that his disciplined nature will allow him to identify and manage challenges as well as opportunities to move the business forward.”
 
Kurtz has worked in hospitality and transportation for more than 20 years including more than a decade with CME in a variety of sales roles between 1998 and 2009. Following CME, he transitioned to Vail Resorts Hospitality as director of sales with the Vail/Beaver Creek Collection. He gained valuable leadership skills, hospitality marketing and most recently experience with responsibility over wholesale and third-party booking channels, many of which are key partners with CME. Kurtz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hartford.
