DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge Celebrates Completion of Hotel-wide Transformation

DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge, located at the base of one of the world’s most popular ski resorts, has undergone a two-year, complete renovation of all 208 guest rooms, meeting rooms, event space and public areas. Situated directly across the street from Peak 9 of Breckenridge Ski Resort, which is celebrating the addition of a 543-acre terrain at Peak 6 this year, the full-service hotel offers spectacular mountain views within a short walk of the Quicksilver Super6 Chair and Beaver Run SuperChair, as well as historic Main Street Breckenridge and the Arts District.

“We are thrilled to announce these exciting updates in time to celebrate this winter’s opening of Peak 6 – the biggest mountain resort expansion in North America the last decade,” said Chris Torsleff, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge. “The completion of our hotel renovations positions us to elevate the guest experience even more, helping us fulfil our mission of offering an Experience of a Lifetime to families and groups alike. We welcome new guests and returning HHonors members to visit us to experience the magic of Breckenridge this winter.”

With more than 9,500 square feet of flexible meeting and event facilities, including the 4,500-square-foot Columbine Ballroom, the hotel offers guests and event planners one of the largest venues in town accommodating up to 450 guests reception-style. A relaxing, outdoor patio presents meeting planners, event goers, and hotel guests a perfect complement to the indoor venues for small group meals, receptions, or creative group activities. Featuring plenty of natural light, meeting rooms are all centrally located on the same floor, thus providing groups with easy access to utilize both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The space also features upgraded house sound and lighting that can be controlled remotely from an iPad, so hotel staff can transform the atmosphere with a touch of a button.
