BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Nov. 6, 2018 – The deadline to purchase the 2018-19 Epic Pass and the entire lineup of Epic Season Pass options – including the Epic Local, Epic 7-Day, Epic 4-Day, and Epic Military Pass – is Sunday, Nov. 18. The Epic Pass continues to provide the greatest value in skiing and snowboarding, offering access to 65 of the world’s best mountain resorts throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. In addition to unlimited, unrestricted access to Vail, Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb and Park City, the Epic Pass has added 20 new destinations for the 2018-19 season and will now feature unlimited, unrestricted access to Crested Butte and seven days in Telluride in Colorado, limited access to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies’ six resorts in Canada, including Fernie and Kicking Horse, and Hakuba Valley’s nine resorts in Japan.
The Epic Local Pass offers access to 27 resorts, including unlimited, unrestricted access to Breckenridge, Crested Butte, and more, with limited restrictions at Park City and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe for only $709. The Epic Local Pass also includes a total of 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek and Whistler Blackcomb with holiday restrictions and five consecutive days of skiing and riding at Hakuba Valley’s nine ski resorts.
Skiers and snowboarders can use the Epic Pass to seize the season with early-season turns at Arapahoe Basin, open now, as well as Keystone and Breckenridge – both opening early, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, after receiving more than four feet of snow in the last week. With resorts opening throughout the month of November, this is the last chance to purchase a season pass for the 2018-19 winter season.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Epic Pass, Vail Resorts is honoring the epic service of the Company’s founders from the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division, and the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, Canadian Armed Forces and Australian Defence Force with the new $149 Military Epic Pass for active and retired military personnel and their dependents – an almost 85-percent discount to the regular Epic Pass price. Additionally, all other U.S., Canadian and Australian veterans and their dependents are eligible for a $549 Military Epic Pass, which offers more than a 40-percent discount off the regular price ($299 for children under 18 years of age).
