Location The proposed Ever Vail mixed-use project will transform a nearly 12-acre site, currently known as West Lionshead – just west of Lionshead base area/Vail Square
In Development Development applications are currently under review by The Town of Vail. This is the largest application submitted to The Town.
Proposed plan Ever Vail plans include approximately 450 residential units that may be a mix of affordable year-round housing, whole ownership condos, rental units and shared ownership homes. In addition, Ever Vail will be a fifth portal to the mountain with a new proposed gondola, a RockResorts hotel, transit center, conference space, restaurants, retail shops, an amphitheater alongside a restored Red Sandstone Creek and other community amenities and facilities.
Green building Ever Vail has been described as one of the most ambitious environmental neighborhood projects in the mountains. The master plan for Ever Vail achieved a LEED Platinum rating (the highest possible rating) for Neighborhood Development in September 2008 when it completed Final Stage One LEED-ND review. According to the U.S Green Building Council, Ever Vail was the first LEED-ND project in the Colorado/Rocky Mountain Region.
