Robby Peoples & the Bank Walkers Perform at Vail’s Summer FAC on Friday, Aug. 15
  • Food and drink specials at Eagle’s Nest from 5 – 9 p.m.
  • Register to win a Yeti mountain bike; drawing is on Aug. 22
Live music from Robby Peoples & the Bank Walkers take over Vail Mountain’s summer FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) this Friday, Aug. 8 at Eagle’s Nest. Peoples learned to play harmonica and guitar in the tradition of hill country blues and rock and roll music while growing up in Mississippi. After touring from coast to coast, Peoples has found a home for his band The Bank Walkers in Denver, and brings their soulful sound to FAC audiences at Vail on Friday.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. every Friday throughout the summer on Talon’s Deck Grill. Kick off the weekend with free live music, food and drink specials, and more all while enjoying amazing sunsets and the best views in the valley. Guests can also enter Bud Light’s free giveaway for a chance to win a Yeti mountain bike. Register this week at FAC for the drawing on Aug. 22.

All performances are free and the Eagle Bahn Gondola is free to 2014-2015 pass holders. Guests who have not yet secured the best season pass deal in the ski industry for next winter can purchase one at www.epicpass.com. Twilight gondola tickets can be purchased after 5 p.m. The last ride up the Eagle Bahn Gondola during evening operations is at 9 p.m.

The remainder of the 2014 summer FAC band lineup includes:
  • Aug. 22            Drunken Hearts
  • Aug. 29            Bluegrass & Bloodies
