Canyons’ one-of-a-kind Zip Tour Adventure takes flight again this June, offering three distinct rides for a unique family experience.  After a quick flight on a training zip line, guests soar on the intermediate zip line that traverses nearly 700 feet and offers a refreshing tree-top panoramic ride.  It’s merely a warm up for the longest zip line in Utah which stretches nearly 2,000 feet and soars more than 200 feet above the ravine between Lookout Peak and Red Pine Lodge.  The 50 mile-per-hour advanced zip line creates a pure sensation of suspension and an unforgettable adrenaline rush.  Don’t close your eyes though – grazing moose might be part of the spectacular scenery!

Guided Hiking Tours
Amidst the spectacular Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, Canyons Resort is the ideal base camp for an assortment of unique hiking excursions.  Join a Canyons guide and unlock the secrets of our wilderness as you encounter breathtaking views, stunning high mountain wildflowers, the comforting shade of aspens and firs and an occasional visit from the deer, elk and other fauna.  These guided hiking adventures range from a family friendly nature walk (Lookout Ridge Trail) to challenging peak-bagging workouts (Fantasy Ridge).  Customize your day with a made-to-order picnic lunch to complete the perfect adventure for you and/or your group.

Mountain Biking
Building on the rave reviews of its inaugural season, Canyons Bike Park expands this summer to offer new flow trails with a variety of dirt and wood features for riders of all abilities. Utah’s only lift-serviced, flow-trail style Bike Park is accessed off the High Meadow and Short Cut chair lifts located at the Red Pine mid-mountain adventure area.  Trails include White Rabbit and Flying Salmon which offer an introduction to gravity riding.  Wild Mouse adds rollers, berms and jumps to offer riders more challenge.  Rally Cat (very difficult) and Cliffhanger (expert only) attract riders with advanced bike handling skills.  New this season is the Split Decision trail for experts only, accessed via Dropkick trail as Canyons Bike Park expands to Lookout Peak.  Improvements to Ricochet and gravity-fed access to Insurgent round out the enhancements to the Canyons Bike Park.

Canyons Bike Park complements an existing network of 20+ miles of single track throughout the resort.  All day and half day clinics are available through the all-new Canyons Mountain Bike Academy.  Mountain Bike 101offers Canyons’ most complete introductory package (ages 8-adult) including instruction, lift ticket and bike rental.  Bike Park 201 offersinstruction for experienced riders on flow and downhill trails.  Customized half- or full-day private lessons are also available.  Rent state-of-the-art GT and Cannondale bicycles from their 2013 line, or shop from a complete line of cycling apparel and gear at Canyon Mountain Sports in the Resort Village. Canyons Bike Park season passes, starting at just $199, are on sale. New this season is a 4-pack Bike Park package which includes four transferable Bike Park tickets for only $99.

Alpine Lake
A refreshing short walk from the top of the High Meadow lift is Canyons’ alpine lake.  The placid waters are home to tiger trout and migrating waterfowl and serve as a serene spot to relax. Rent pedal boats, learn the basics of fishing or simply savor a picnic lunch in this stunning mountain setting.

18-Hole Putting Course
Nothing about the Canyons Resort Village putting course is ordinary.  Water hazards and sand traps dot the 18-hole mountain-themed course, while benches, umbrellas, Adirondack chairs and soaring western skies all greet families of all ages who enjoy this throwback pastime.  Join the action, or watch it from the “clubhouse” inside the all-new Canyons Kids store.

Dining
Designed to enliven all the senses, an unrivaled collection of distinctive mountain cuisine awaits you
at Canyons Resort. Under the direction of Executive Chef Zeke Wray, this extraordinary group of
restaurants offers the utmost in culinary excellence. The Farm’s commitment to local, sustainably
