Park City Mountain Now Open for the 2017-18 Season

PARK CITY, Utah – Nov. 23, 2017 – Park City Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, is now open for the 2017-18 season. The Thanksgiving celebration began early on the slopes this year as skiers and snowboarders enjoyed the first tracks of the winter season on Park City Mountain’s Homerun trail. Payday and First Time lifts started spinning at 9 a.m. this morning at the Park City Mountain Village as guests eagerly awaited the first chair. Park City Mountain is one of first ski resorts to open in Utah and will remain open through Sunday, April 8, 2018. The Canyons Village is scheduled to open tomorrow, Nov. 24.

New this year Park City Mountain will celebrate the #FIRST30 days of the winter season in style with special events, offers and discounts for locals and Epic Pass holders including two new free concerts in December. Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will play on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Park City Mountain Village and Andy Frasco and The U.N. will appear on the Canyons Village Stage on Saturday, Dec. 9. Guests will also find discounts on rentals, ski tuning, spa and dining.
