Park City to Open for Historic 2015-16 Winter Season on Saturday, November 21

Park City is making history in a big way this November. In the summer of 2015, Park City and Canyons Resorts combined as part of a $50 million capital improvement project to create one, unified resort. The new Park City will open on Saturday, November 21 as the largest ski resort in the United States and will offer guests over 300 trails, 41 lifts and 7,300 acres of terrain this season.

Park City is thrilled to announce Manual Rozehnal's appointment to Executive Chef of The Farm, one of many exciting changes to the dining scene at the resort. Park City Employees Support Local Water Quality Projects for Company-Wide Volunteer Day

PARK CITY, Utah. – Sept. 21, 2015 – This past Saturday, Sept. 19, approximately 200 Park City employees gathered to support various water quality projects along East Canyon Creek near Mormon Flats, the Spring Creek Trailhead and surrounding areas. Working in partnership with Swaner EcoCenter, Trout Unlimited and the East Canyon Watershed Committee, the volunteers represented a portion of 2,000 Vail Resorts employees giving back that day in locations across the country as part of Vail Resorts’ annual EpicPromise Day.

With fewer than 100 days until the debut of the largest ski resort in the U.S., Vail Resorts announced that Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, will be the final day to get the lowest guaranteed price on season passes to the newly combined Park City. For only $579, the Epic Local Pass provides unlimited days of skiing and riding to all 7,300 acres of the new Park City, with 11 holiday restrictions. The Epic Local Pass also includes free skiing or riding in Colorado and at Lake Tahoe, providing more access than any other Utah season pass, at a lower price than most competitive passes.

Vail Resorts Launches Epic SchoolKids in Utah

Elementary school kids in Utah will now be eligible for free skiing and riding earlier than ever before. Vail Resorts announced today it is bringing its “Epic SchoolKids” program to Utah, which provides free skiing and riding to all kindergarten through fifth graders. The program provides five days of free skiing and riding at Utah’s Park City, which will combine with Canyons Resort this winter to form the largest resort in the U.S.
