Margo Christiansen Named Senior Manager of Communications at Canyons Resort

Canyons Resort has appointed Margo Christiansen to the position of Senior Manager of Communications. Christiansen, who began responsibilities on April 7, will focus on driving the Resort’s key messages for year-round activities and create new outreach initiatives to reflect the Canyons Resort brand while overseeing strategic communications and public relations.

Operation Smile, an international children’s medical charity, will host its third annual Park City Celebrity Smile Challenge at Canyons Resort on March 15 to raise funds and awareness for children around the world suffering from cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.

Canyons Resort Celebrates Annual Spring Concert Series

Canyons Resort kicks off the annual Spring Concert Series on Saturday, February 15. The free après concerts happen every Saturday and select Sundays at 3pm on the Resort Village stage.  New this season, Canyons has added two shows in February, two weeks earlier than in previous years.  The eleven concerts will groove the village stage, showcasing rock, blues, reggae and global sounds.

Canyons & Vail Resorts Announce $500,000 in Donations to Park City Area Non-Profits

Vail Resorts, Inc. and Canyons Resort awarded more than $500,000 in contributions and have pledged more than 1,000 hours of paid employee time to 10 Park City non-profit organizations over the next year. The contributions follow Vail Resorts’ corporate stewardship efforts to benefit youth programs and environmental initiatives across the local communities in which the company operates its core businesses.
