Canyons Resort Cuts Ceremonial Ribbon on Golf Course

Canyons Resort, TCFC and Canyons Resort Village Management Association (RVMA) cut the ceremonial ribbon on Canyons Golf Wednesday. The ribbon cutting kicked off a two-day celebration where Park City community leaders and partners took the first swings on course in a shotgun-style tournament. The golf course, which is situated over 97 acres in the heart of the Canyons Resort footprint, was designed by renowned architects Gene Bates and Casey Bates.

Canyons Resort Unveils New Bike Park Trail

Canyons Resort Bike Park just gained more ground. GoPro Double Down, a new expert-only trail, has been added to the arsenal of trail offerings at Canyons Bike Park. After a summer of labor, the newly opened terrain is a signature Bike Park jump trail with mandatory drops and big air. Descending almost 500 vertical feet, GoPro Double Down incorporates 14 dirt and wood features within this prime bike park trail.

Canyons Resort part of 2019 World Championships Designation in Park City, Utah

Canyons Resort has been awarded host of ski and snowboardcross events for the International Ski Federation’s 2019 World Championships for freestyle, freeskiing and snowboarding. The decision of the governing FIS Council was announced Thursday, June 5 during the FIS Congress in Barcelona.

Canyons Resort Opens for Summer Operations June 12

Canyons Resort opens the summer season on Thursday, June 12, with a fun-filled roster of activities for the whole family.  Together with adventures including hiking, Zip Tour Adventure, and putting course, Canyons has a full schedule of special events throughout the entire summer from the annual July 3rd Celebration to Saturday Summer Concert Series, to bike events such as the Enduro Cup and Go-Ride Gravity Series. To celebrate summer 2014, Canyons is hosting a special opening weekend party on Friday June 13 and Saturday June 14 with a schedule of special events.

Canyons Resort has appointed Margo Christiansen to the position of Senior Manager of Communications. Christiansen, who began responsibilities on April 7, will focus on driving the Resort’s key messages for year-round activities and create new outreach initiatives to reflect the Canyons Resort brand while overseeing strategic communications and public relations.
