#1 Prerequisite for Utah College Students: Ski & Ride Canyons on 2013-2014 Epic Local Pass
Utah’s Largest & Most Dynamic Resort Unveils State’s Best Value

PARK CITY, Utah – The newest member of the Epic Pass family, Canyons Resort offers the best value and the greatest flexibility in Utah in an epic line-up of 2013-2014 season passes for Utah college students.  Students can choose the season pass that best meets their needs, from access to Canyons only, or skiing and riding at 17 other iconic mountains in five states, Austria and Switzerland. Act quickly!  The lowest prices on next season’s passes are only guaranteed through September 2, 2013.

The Epic Local Pass features access to 11 resorts across four states including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin (Colorado); Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood (California); Canyons (Utah), Afton Alps (Minnesota) and Mt. Brighton (Michigan).  College students can ski or ride locally with limited restrictions for just $479 on the Epic Local pass.

Students who plan to stay close to home during breaks can opt for the Canyons Youth Pass, which offers unlimited, unrestricted access to Canyons for just $429.

To purchase the Epic Local or Canyons Youth Pass at college pricing, students (regardless of age) must show proof of full time college enrollment (minimum 12 credits for undergraduates or 6 credits for graduate students) at the time of purchase. Utah students can contact their local ski and snowboard university representative or buy in person at any Breeze Outlet or at Canyons Resort in Park City.

The following guide can help Utah College students choose the best season pass options for them, based on how much they plan to ski and ride locally or travel to other states.

CANYONS YOUTH PASS

For Utah resident college students, Canyons Youth Pass features unlimited access to Canyons with no restrictions for only $429 – a savings of $170 or 28% compared to last season’s $599/No Brainer pass. Students purchasing the Canyons Youth Pass must show proof of a minimum of 12 undergraduate hours, or six graduate hours for the 2013 fall semester at any college or university, and proof of residency in Utah.

A total of 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek are also included, with holiday restrictions. Pass holders who wish to ski or ride on a blackout date at Canyons may purchase a ticket for $65.

Which pass is right for me?

Skier/Rider Profile

Pass

Canyons is my home mountain and I want to ski there the most. No time for road trips this semester for me.

Canyons Youth Pass

I love Canyons and definitely plan to take a trip to a neighboring state to ski.  But since I’d love to save a few dollars here and there, I’ll pass on the busiest holidays.

Epic Local Pass

Skiing is my life and my priority. I’m going to ski as much as I can wherever I can this winter (just don’t tell my parents!). Spring Break in Switzerland, baby!
