TRUCKEE, Calif. – Aug. 7, 2019 – Northstar California Resort will host the only U.S. stop during the 2019 Enduro World Series (EWS), August 24-25. Presented by North Lake Tahoe Resort Association (NLTRA), the penultimate EWS event at Northstar Mountain Bike Park will feature 600 athletes competing in arguably the birthplace of mountain biking, for round seven of the sold-out competition. The event will begin at 8 a.m. and finish at 5 p.m. each day.

Easy viewing can be best accessed by purchasing a lift ticket, which will allow for spectators to watch athletes encounter new bike park features. Discounted multiple day spectator tickets will be available and guests should allot fifteen minutes to get to mid-mountain using Big Springs Gondola. A designated viewing area and vendor village will be located at mid-mountain, where spectators can take a closer look at all of the action and race finishes by pro athletes from around the world.

EWS is a groundbreaking race format that has brought together the best enduro mountain bikers in the world. The race combines the physical endurance of cross-country riding with the technical difficulty and excitement of downhill racing. Over the course of two days, the competition will test riders’ endurance levels and technical skills on a variety of terrain at Northstar Bike Park, the largest lift-served bike park in Tahoe.
