Keystone's A51 Terrain Park is Turning Ten and Celebrating with a Boxzilla Showcase
KEYSTONE, Colo. — January 4, 2013 — Keystone Resort ushers in the New Year with a tribute to the A51 Terrain Park turning 10 this season with a free, friendly competition Sunday, January 13, 2013.
 
The A51 10-Year Anniversary Showcase will feature a "boxzilla” feature with more than 10 boxes stacked continuously to form a challenging line for skiers and riders to come out and test their skills on. Judges will gauge who has what it takes to snag the top-spot by throwing down tricks or staying on the box the longest with the chance to win awesome prizes including gear, goggles, accessories and more. The format will consist of an hour-long jam session giving plenty of time for hot-laps by hiking or taking A51’s designated park lift. Staying true to the nature of A51 Terrain Park always being a good time, the atmosphere will be lively with music, an MC and swag giveaways for the crowd.
 
Timing for the Event: 
  • 12 PM-1 PM: Warm-Up
  • 1 PM-2 PM: Box-zilla Jam
  • 2 PM-2:30 PM: Awards and Giveaways
