Tracy Bartels Named Senior Director, Keystone Mountain Operations

Keystone Resort announced the appointment of Tracy Bartels to the position of senior director, mountain operations.

In her role as senior director of mountain operations at Keystone, Bartels will oversee and manage ski patrol, mountain safety, snowmaking, grooming, lift operations, lift maintenance, terrain parks, events, mountain construction and guest services.

“I'm thrilled to welcome Tracy to the Keystone Resort team,” said Mike Goar, vice president and chief operating officer of Keystone. “I'm confident that her experience and leadership abilities will be incredible assets for our mountain operations department and the broader resort team.”

Bartels first began her career with Vail Resorts in 2000 as a manager of children’s ski and ride school at Breckenridge Ski Resort, a role she held for 10 years before being named the health and safety manager at Keystone in 2010. Most recently Bartels served as the health and safety manager at Breckenridge.

Prior to starting her career with Vail Resorts, Bartels worked for Unitog Company, United Technology and Texas Instruments. Bartels holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
