Fall For Keystone Resort this September

Keystone, Colo. — Aug. 22, 2017 — Summer can move swiftly in the high country, and the sights and sounds of fall are becoming increasingly present at Keystone Resort. Cool nights and crisp mornings signal the onset of fall, where families can enjoy the final days of summer with free events, outdoor activities and a laid-back environment welcoming of the entire family. Labor Day weekend lodging rates at Keystone begin at $179 and include free nine holes of golf, free guided hikes and free scenic lift rides.

Keystone’s weekly Friday Afternoon Club kicks off Labor Day Weekend with free lift rides from 1-7 p.m. and free live music, games and food and drink specials to accompany the spectacular views of Lake Dillon from atop Keystone. The Labor Day festivities continue with Keystone’s Oktoberfest and the resort’s annual Taste of Keystone. Perfect for the entire family, Oktoberfest features free admission, a 5k fun run, free face painters, a bounce house, polka dancers and live music from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2. Don’t spoil your appetite, as the Taste of Keystone features the resort’s top chefs creating everything from casual bites to refined fare from signature dining options such as the Keystone Ranch, Ski Tip Lodge and Alpenglow Stube from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3.

In addition to the Labor Day weekend, fall can continue to be enjoyed throughout the month of September whether golfing on the greens, biking amongst golden aspens or simply relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding Rocky Mountains.

Keystone Resort is home to two distinct golf courses, offering 36-holes of championship golf in one idyllic setting. The River Course offers impressive elevation changes, variable bunkers, water hazards and six sets of tees on each hole to challenge and welcome golfers of all ability levels. Keystone Ranch Golf Course is set on historic ranch land where original structures and old western heritage remain throughout the course, providing a nostalgic feel amongst the breathtaking scenery. The Keystone Ranch Golf course is open through Sunday, Sept. 24 and The River Course is open through Sunday, Oct. 8.

Keystone Bike Park: Downhill Thrills
The Keystone Bike Park features 55 lift-serviced singletrack mountain biking trails, with progressive terrain welcoming riders of all ability levels. The Keystone Bike Academy caters to riders of all levels with beginner clinics, private lessons and downhill guides. Bike and full downhill gear rentals are conveniently available at Keystone Sports locations in the resort’s River Run Village. The Keystone Bike Park is open daily through Labor Day and then Saturdays and Sundays Sept. 9-10 and 16-17.

Keystone is open for daily summer operations through Monday, Sept. 4, as well as weekend-only operations Sept. 9-10 and 16-17. Lift access begins at 10 a.m. each day. For detailed operation hours, visit keystoneresort.com.

2017-2018 Epic Season Passes On Sale Now
Colorado skiers and snowboarders must purchase a 2017-2018 winter season pass by Sept. 4, 2017 to secure the guaranteed lowest price. The recent release of the Keystone A-Basin 4-Pack, now available for just $209, joins the Keystone A-Basin and Epic Local season pass lineup as a popular option for local skiers and riders. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy unlimited access to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with holiday restrictions, available for only $349 when they purchase before Monday, Sept. 4. At just $639, the Epic Local Pass pays for itself in just over three days of skiing or riding and offers unlimited, unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Park City Mountain in Utah and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe. All season passes are now available for purchase at EpicPass.com.
