Keystone Resort Offers Fun Spring Events and Extended Week of Skiing and Riding
•Special end-of-season buddy ticket promotion allows season pass holders to redeem buddy tickets for 50 percent off the window rate April 10-16

Keystone, Colo. – April 3, 2017 – With 21 inches of snow in the past week, it’s not quite time to put away the skis and snowboards just yet. With Keystone Resort remaining open until Sunday, April 16, the extended season allows skiers and riders to enjoy an extra week of late season turns through Easter. Plus, season pass holders can bring their friends and utilize remaining buddy passes for 50 percent off the window ticket rate during the final week of the season, April 10-16.

Beginning Monday, April 10, all skier services including lift tickets and season passes, ski school, retail, food and beverage, and parking will be based out of River Run Village. On-mountain food and beverage offerings will be available at the Summit House and Labonte’s, while Timber Ridge and the Mountain House lodge will be open for bathroom facilities only. Lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the remainder of the season.

While the final days of the season are on the horizon, there is still plenty of time to enjoy spring skiing and riding, great family activities and events through closing day, April 16.

Kidtopia Continues
Keystone’s free daily Kidtopia programming, including the popular Saturday parade and fireworks, will continue through Keystone’s closing day, offering free entertainment and activities for the whole family. For the full schedule of daily Kidtopia events, visit KeystoneResort.com.

Keystone’s Slush Cup and Kidtopia Slush Cup Return Sunday, April 9
Keystone Resort’s annual end-of-season Slush Cup returns on Sunday, April 9. The family-friendly affair features pond skimming competitions for both kids and adults as they put their ski and snowboard skills to the test and launch themselves off a jump in attempts to skim across water and vie for top honors and prizes. The Kidtopia Slush Cup will offer a separate, smaller pond for younger contestants ages 6-13. For more information, and to register in advance, visit KeystoneResort.com.

Easter Celebration
Celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 16 at Kidtopia Headquarters in River Run Village’s Dercum Square with a morning full of free, family-friendly activities, crafts, entertainment and fun! From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests can participate in cookie decorating, egg painting, and Easter crafts. Plus, a very special visit from the Easter Bunny. Keystone’s Edgewater Café, located in Lakeside Village, will offer an Easter Brunch with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with reservations available by calling 970-496-4386.

2017-2018 Epic Passes on Sale Now
The winter season may be winding down, but now is the time for skiers and riders to lock in the lowest guaranteed price on next year’s Epic Pass by putting $49 down this spring and paying the remainder in the fall. The Epic Local Pass is now on sale, along with the Epic Pass, Summit Value Pass and Keystone A-Basin Pass. If purchased before April 9, eligible pass holders also receive six Buddy Tickets for friends and family to ski at a discounted rate.
