South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev. – January 24, 2014 –Calling lovers of fresh tracks! Heavenly Mountain Resort will open early for season passholders over the next three Saturdays. The Gondola doors will open at 8 am, inviting passholders to enjoy the early morning light as they ascend above Lake Tahoe, and rip into the glittering corduroy waiting at the top.

“At Heavenly, we are committed to our passholders and strive to provide them with the best conditions possible,” said Pete Sonntag, vice president and chief operating officer of Heavenly. “First Tracks is our way of thanking our most loyal guests. Our grooming and snowmaking teams have been working hard to provide Tahoe’s best snow surface conditions, and we want our passholders to take full advantage.”
